As a full-time marriage celebrant, I’m always hustling hard in the name of love to provide THE VERY BEST experience for my couples (because in my humble celebrant opinion, they deserve nothing less!) My current fees allow me to help my awesome couples consider and plan absolutely EVERYTHING in the lead-up to their day. And on the day itself, be their ULTIMATE wingman, by ensuring that everything is taken care of and that all they have to do is relax, be themselves, and REALLY enjoy it!

So regardless of which service you choose, here are some things that you can expect from the Marry Me Josh Experience:

IT’S ALL-INCLUSIVE: My fees include absolutely everything we need to plan and celebrate THE BEST day (other than additional travel, if required). This means you’ll never get a ‘surprise invoice’ from me (cos that’s not my jam). Instead, once you lock in your day with the booking fee, this guy will have everything well considered and planned (and your back), ALWAYS!

FLEXIBLE AF: To lock it in, all you need to do is pay the booking fee (as per your invoice) and sign the service agreement. Then, the outstanding amount can be paid when and however you wish, up to 30 days before your day!

I’M ALL YOURS: Regardless of the number of services you choose, I only ever book one awesome couple per date, for the ultimate peace of mind. Which means I can be flexible on your day (in case timings change last minute, for example) and arrive with plenty of time to spare. In other words, I’ll be all yours from the morning of your day, until the moment we say goodbye (or whenever this slightly needy fella FINALLY leaves you be).

‘MY COUPLES’ (NOT ‘CLIENTS’): There’s a good reason why I call my couples, ‘my couples’ and not my ‘clients’. And that’s because from the moment we meet I really like to get to know them so that they feel 100% confident and comfortable with me. The more I can connect with and help my awesome couples, the better their celebration (and the vibe) will be, and the more they’ll be able to simply relax, be themselves and truly enjoy it!

LITTLE DETAILS ARE MY JAM: I absolutely LOVE thinking about every little detail and logistics are my jam!! So I’ll ensure that your day is planned just the way you want it and runs flawlessly (I warned you I’m a little ‘OTT’ 😬). To ensure this happens, I’ll work closely with your other vendors, and together, we’ll work as the ultimate dream team!

100% YOU: All of my services are personalised and tailored to you. So regardless of which one you choose, I’ll help you as much as I can! I’ll throw a heap of great ideas your way, and give you some insight into what has worked well or even ‘not so well’ in the past so that we can create your ideal day!

As well as over 5 years of professional knowledge and experience, some handy industry relationships, and some great lessons learned along the way (there’s a good reason why I now pack 4 extra, fully charged batteries for my microphone, and 2 spare pens - just in case 😬)

RIGHTO, SO WHAT do I do (and roughly how much is it?)

Please take a look through the different services I offer below, and keep in mind that ALL of my services are very detailed and tailored to suit you! On that note, please treat the below info as a guide only, as given that my services are so personalised and unique, I won’t be able to provide a tailored quote until we catch up to see if we vibe, and have a good chat about your day (and throw around some AWESOME ideas, of course!) 🥳

The Ultimate Celebration (Celebrant Service)

This service isn't for the 'feint hearted', as it includes EVERYTHING we need (and about 20+ hours of TLC) to make your day 'THE BEST' as opposed to 'just another'. Once you lock it in, sit back and relax as I’ll take it from there…

BEFORE THE DAY: I’ll make sure the legal stuff is taken care of, and send you some great ideas via email (including a handy ‘Vow Writing Guide.) Then, at about 10-6 weeks from your day, we’ll catch up for our ‘Celebration Catch Up’ where we’ll plan and discuss absolutely EVERYTHING!! And by the way, this catch-up is SUPER collaborative, so we’ll discuss heaps of great ideas and create a personal ceremony that you will absolutely LOVE (rather than survive)! We’ll also discuss and book in the rehearsal, which I’ll hold before the big day.

ON THE DAY: I’ll be there from an hour before the ceremony (or 2, if you’ve booked additional services) to set up, play some tunes, make sure everything is in the right spot, and have a quick chat with your other vendors so that everyone is on the same page (and so that the ceremony runs as smooth as.) And by the way, EVERYTHING will be prepared and provided on the day by yours truly: your vows printed, all music downloaded (WiFi can never be trusted), and my good sound equipment set up and ready to roll.

All you’ll need to do is rock up and enjoy YOUR BEST moment yet, as we kick off a celebration that is as unique and as memorable as you! By the end of the ceremony, the vibe will be high, so I’ll hang around for about 30 mins to play some tunes (to squash any ‘post-ceremony awkward silence’) and then say my goodbyes when you two head off for photos.

AFTER THE DAY: I don’t simply ‘smoke bomb outta there’ as there will still be some things to take care of. I’ll double-check, prepare and lodge all the legal paperwork, and send you a handy email with some info on ‘how to change your name after marriage’ (if that’s your thang). But as always, if you get stuck, please just give me a call!

PLUS: Some bonus (and pretty damn handy) little inclusions along the way (all will be revealed 🎩🐰)

The OTT MC

Have Josh keep your guests entertained AND your night on track, with this handy 'entertainment-logistics combo'. This service isn't just an 'MC Service' as it includes 'MC' and 'On The Day Coordinator' features (so that you can chat and mingle more, and stress a little less):

BEFORE YOUR DAY: At about 8 weeks from your day, we’ll catch up to discuss and plan the ENTIRE reception (timings, logistics, speeches, etc) and create a detailed run sheet, which you can share with your other vendors if you wish. Then, I’ll liaise with your vendors in the lead-up to confirm any final details as required, and double-check the run sheet with you before the day. Then, you’re OFFICIALLY off the clock, as this guy has got you!

ON THE DAY: I’ll be there about an hour before the reception officially kicks off to touch base with your other vendors, and prepare the space for the arrival of your guests. Then I’ll guide you and your guests throughout the event, in a fun and light (yet organised) way, and liaise with your vendors so that the entire reception runs like a well-oiled machine (problem-solving and little details are my jam). Then, when you hit ‘party time’, I’ll say my goodbyes and leave you to live your best d floor lives! 🕺

Current all-inclusive 2024 fee: $1450

The MC Helper

Do you have an MC in mind but want them to feel more like a guest and less like a vendor? Well then this handy MC Helper service may be what you’re looking for. I’ll keep the event on track and ensure that your MC works smart (not hard).

THE LOGISTICAL (JOSH) STUFF: At about 8 weeks from your day, we’ll catch up to discuss and plan the ENTIRE reception, complete with a detailed run sheet, of course. We’ll also create a separate ‘MC Runsheet’ which your MC can personalise as they wish. (And by the way, your MC is more than welcome to join us for this catch up.)

ON THE DAY: I’ll arrive early to prepare the reception space and have a quick chat with the MC during the ‘cocktail hour.’ And once we jump into the reception, I’ll collaborate with your other vendors, and simply prompt your MC before each formality, to ensure that the entire event runs as smooth as (and so that your MC isn’t watching the clock!)

THE MC STUFF: Your MC will have my support in the lead-up to the day and on the day itself. If they need, we can catch up via Zoom to have a chat about the event OR they can flick me an email at any time. And on the day itself, I’ll simply prompt them as needed, so that they can ‘party more’ and ‘vendor less’!

Current all-inclusive 2024 fee: $1350

The DJ (aka ‘DJ Nipslip’)

Let the music play and keep the good vibes rolling from the end of the ceremony to the end of the reception with this 100% personalised DJ experience:

BEFORE YOUR DAY: We’ll catch up to discuss and plan the entire reception, from a music perspective (speech intros, background tunes, party time tunes, timings, cues etc). And by the way, this planning experience will be VERY collaborative and inclusive, as it’s a wedding (not a nightclub) after all!

ON THE DAY: I’ll arrive early to set everything up before the ceremony (to avoid that awkward 'post-ceremony silence'). Which by the way, includes a separate setup to the ceremony: a high-quality Yamaha speaker system (that’s a little overkill in terms of sound quality and volume), a wireless mic (or two, if you have two MCs), a good quality lighting set up, and a minimalistic DJ booth.

Before the reception kicks off, I’ll also have a quick chat with your MC(s) so that we work as the ultimate team! Throughout the reception, I’ll play some good background tunes, as well as all the tracks you’ve chosen for the formalities before we finally hit the d floor! And once we do, I’ll play the songs you want to hear (and not the songs that you don’t) to keep your guests dancing.

And by the way, I absolutely LOVE it when guests request music (subject to a quick ‘DJ vibe check’ of course 😬)

The Travellin’ Hitcher

I’m so damn lucky to have hitched some awesome couples in some pretty awesome places, including 4 states within Australia, and even 1.1 km underground in remote Western Australia (pictured).

So needless to say, I absolutely LOVE to travel for my awesome couples! 50km of travel within the Perth metro area is included with all of my services, however, if you would like me to travel beyond the Perth metro area within WA, my travel fee covers these great things:

- My travel costs and time spent traveling to/from the wedding venue (including both the day before and after)

- My early arrival the day before, to hold the rehearsal and be in the area (for peace of mind and just in case of any last-minute changes)

- One night’s accommodation (or part thereof)

Current all-inclusive 2024 fee: $1.50 per kilometre beyond the 50km metro travel allowance

Wedding Speech Wingman

Are you or someone you know a little stuck with a wedding speech? Well, I write creatively for a living and in fact, I love it! So with this handy service, get a one-on-one creative writing call, as well as 2 revisions to get THE ULTIMATE speech!

It also includes:

- A 30-minute call via Zoom to discuss some great ideas and get the creative juices flowing

- Up to two drafts sent to and revised by Josh

- The final copy printed and ready to hand to the person on the day

Current all-inclusive 2024 fee: $250 per person

A Handy Couple’s Webpage

Create a space where your guests can view ALL the details about your day, and send their RSVP directly to your email, with your very own personalised couple’s webpage.

It’ll even have your very own couple’s logo (which you can use elsewhere if you wish) and once it’s complete, simply add the link to your paper invites OR send it to your guests via email. Simples!

Personal Vow Coaching

Your personal vows (in my humble celebrant opinion) are one of the highlights of your celebration. So, I spend a lot of time with my couples on this part alone, to make sure that they not only write great vows but that they feel 100% comfortable and confident in that moment.

As part of my celebrant service, I’ll send you my handy Vow Writing Guide but if you are still stuck, please feel free to give me a call to get started. Or send me as many drafts as you like, so that we can get it ‘just write’. 😬

Once you’re finally happy with them, I’ll format and print them for you (similar to the vows pictured) and bring them on the day, so that they are ready to hand to you at the right moment.

(And just in case you’re wondering, they’ll be printed in a font that’s SUPER easy to read, on a solid 200GSM card.)
