THINGS TO KNOW
ATTIRE: The dress code is ‘cocktail attire’.
SHUTTLE BUS: The shuttle bus will arrive at 2:30pm (and leave shortly after) for transport to the ceremony area.
LITTLE ONES: We’d love for your kids to come, but it is a large and open venue with unprotected water. So if you’ve got some little ones, please give us a call and we’ll fill you in, so you can decide.
WISHING WELL: Your attendance is the most important thing to us, but if you’d like to give us something, we’d love a contribution to our wishing well to help us set up our new home, or towards a new member of our family (a Goldie puppy). If money isn’t your thing, then I’m sure we will treasure anything you give us.
The bridal party will be down at the venue but we’ll mostly be doing our own thing that night. If you want the three day camping weekend at the beautiful venue, then feel free to head down and you’ll have free use of the kitchen facilities Friday night. The venue is difficult to find in the dark, so we’d suggest taking the afternoon off work to make sure you arrive safely.
Bridgetown Peeps - A bus will be picking you up from outside somewhere (TBC) at 2pm sharp, so be sure not to miss it. The venue is difficult to find, and it’s not recommended to leave in the dark, so we do suggest that you take the bus rather than drive yourself in.
Linga Longa Peeps - Please make sure you’re ready and at the venue by 2:45pm. A bus will be shuttling people from 2:45 to the incredible ceremony location.
SATURDAY’S ORDER OF EVENTS:
2:45pm - Transport to ceremony
3:30pm - Ceremony commences
4:30pm to 7pm - Cocktail hour (or two) on the lawn
7pm to 12am - Reception
For those glamping or camping at Linga Longa, we’ll have a BBQ fry up in the morning. Please bring some beers and food to store for a relaxing day hanging out by the water, paddling, cricketing or doing any other activity that tickles your fancy.
