the schedule

FRIDAY
The bridal party will be down at the venue but we will mostly be doing our own thing that night. If you want the three day weekend at the beautiful venue, then feel free to head down and you’ll have free use of the kitchen facilities Friday night. If you’re coming down Friday, we’d suggest taking the afternoon off work to make sure you arrive safely.

SATURDAY

ORDER OF EVENTS:
12:00pm - Check in at Linga Longa (or earlier if bringing your own gear)
2:00pm - Bus pick-up for guests staying in Bridgetown
2:45pm - Transport to ceremony location from the camping area on site
3:30pm - Ceremony commences
4:30pm to 7pm - Cocktail hour (or two) on the lawn
7pm to 12am - Reception (2 bus trips back to Bridgetown at specific times - TBA)

Guest staying at Linga Longa - Please make sure you’re ready and at the camping site at 2:45pm. A bus will be shuttling people from 2:45pm to the incredible ceremony location.

Guests staying at Bridgetown - A bus will be picking you up from outside somewhere (TBA) at 2pm sharp, so be sure not to miss it. There will be a couple of buses returning to Bridgetown in the evening, so we’d recommend relaxing and letting us sort your transport.

SUNDAY
For those glamping or camping at Linga Longa or anyone still in the area, we’ll have a BBQ fry up in the morning. If you are staying longer, please bring some drinks and food to store for a relaxing day hanging out by the water, paddling, cricketing, mountain biking or doing any other activity that tickles your fancy.

The venue is a downhill mountain bike park and one of the best in the state, so if you have a bike feel free to bring it to use their tracks.

THINGS TO KNOW

ATTIRE: Cocktail

WISHING WELL: Your attendance is the most important thing to us, but if you’d like to give us something, we’d love a contribution to our wishing well to help us set up our new home, or towards a new member of our family (a Goldie puppy). If money isn’t your thing, we will treasure anything you give us.

LITTLE ONES: We’d love for your kids to come, but it is a large and open venue with unprotected water. Please give us a call and we’ll fill you in, so that you can decide.

ACCOMMODATION

ON SITE

We’ve hired the venue exclusively for two days on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th of January. We’d love for you to glamp or camp with us to celebrate our wedding on the Saturday and share a relaxed Sunday by the water. You’re also welcome to stay Friday night, but it’s an extra $15 per person to the owners of the venue. Check out is by 10am Monday.

GLAMPING
The wonderful people at Soul Camping will be setting up our glamping tent city for the weekend. Two night minimum stay and a variety of 2 or 4 person tent options. Follow the link below to make your booking. Limited number of glamping tents available so get in quick! All bookings must be paid in full by the 24th of December.

CAMPING
Free camping on site Saturday and Sunday night if you bring a swag or tent. Friday night is $15.

FACILITIES
There are shared unisex showers and separate male and female toilets. If you’re keen to camp, but nervous about getting ready and glammed up, then we suggest doing the bulk in Perth and driving down Saturday morning.

FOOD FOR THE WEEKEND
More details closer to the date, but there’s a big communal kitchen for use and food and drink storage for those staying on site for the weekend.

OFF SITE - BRIDGETOWN

We’re organising a bus from Bridgetown to the venue and then there will be two return bus trips at specific times to Bridgetown in the evening. So, if glamping and camping doesn’t suit you, please book somewhere in the beautiful town of Bridgetown.
